If ever Sydney Keeney had to write a book, it would be called The REAL Hustle. Sydney has forged a unique trail in the creative and events industries of South Africa. After completing her Honours degree at The Open Window, she took on multiple creative roles like an artist, curator, gallery manager, event coordinator, business owner and graphic designer.
She is co-founder of No Rules Cafeteria, a groundbreaking, rebellious pop-up series that took place in Joburg, along with Khanya Mzongwana and Tayla Foong that worked with brands like PUMA, Goodleaf, MAMAKASHAKA and a few others. Her tenacity has now lead her across the globe to Todos Santos, Mexico where she took over a preexisting Wedding Planning business, she is a destination wedding planner, business owner, and lead event designer. With great sensitivity and a practised eye for the big and small details of an event experience, Keeney puts together individually tailored design concepts and takes over their complete organization and implementation for her clients. Her experience showcases the dynamic flexibility that a degree in Visual Communication can provide you.
